The firm was originally founded in Dallas, Texas in 1994 as Campbell & Williams, LLP. John F. Williams, Jr. was a founding partner of that firm and continues to aggressively represent clients as he has since 1993. Mr. Williams continues to represent clients in all areas of Collin, Dallas and Denton counties.

Mr. Williams graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science and achieved his Juris Doctorate in 1992 from the Baylor University School of Law. He was admitted to practice in the state of Texas in 1992. Mr. Williams is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District and U.S. Bankruptcy courts in the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas.
